RIA INSTITUTE BAHRAIN – 90 SECONDS

RIA was created in 1999 to cater to the needs of students with Autism, who might otherwise slip through the cracks in the school system. It has since expanded its enrollment programme to include students with other learning and communication difficulties. They offer holistic education in a family atmosphere, offering a year round educational and ‘mini’ respite service. Teaching in both English and Arabic, RIA has become a “melting pot” of nationalities, languages, and cultures and together they work to make every day a special experience for the students and their families. Baloo, the adorable chocolate brown rescue dog, is a regular visitor to RIA, where he brings joy and laughter to the children and helps enhance their play and life skills.
